Aid project in The Czech Republic
Helping Hands aid shipments have been distributed to refugee centers housing Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in the Czech Republic, as well as to orphanages and aid centers in the region.
There was much joy when the aid shipments containing jackets, sweaters, clothes of various sizes, shoes, blankets, first aid kits and other supplies were received at refugee centers, aid centers and orphanages located in the central and north eastern Bohemian region of the Czech Republic.
The Ukrainian refugees were very grateful for the aid as they had to leave most of their belongings behind during their flight.
One of the pictures portray a Ukrainian pregnant mother with her son who received new clothes and other supplies that they were in great need of. Another picture shows a manager of the social services receiving clothing boxes for the Ukrainian refugees. These were then placed in the town hall where the refugees came and choose what they needed from the aid. An additional picture shows a family with 4 children who fled from Ukraine. They all received new clothes, shoes and other necessities upon arrival to the Czech Republic.
You will also see pictures of some of the children from one of the orphanages that houses 36 children and young people from ages 4-18 years old. The pictures show when they received the aid and how happy they were for their new clothes, shoes and other supplies.
A heart filled thank you goes out to all who have contributed and made these relief efforts possible.
