Aid project in Colombia

Helping Hands aid shipment reached approximately 5000 disadvantaged in Colombia.

Helping Hands aid shipment has been distributed to several conflict stricken areas in Colombia’s North West region where many internally displaced families have sought refuge to escape the violence and disturbances in their previous locations.

The distribution took place thanks to Colombia’s social services along with several local aid organizations and benefitted approximately 5000 individuals where each person received on average 4 pieces of clothing each. The distribution was organized from central distribution points in each community where the needy from adjacent slums were able to personally select the items they needed.

Part of the aid shipment reached as far as to Colombia’s South Western region where poverty is very severe and extensive. On the images you will see as students at a school in the region received new football jerseys and how happy the pupils were for the aid.
