The war generated approximately one million refugees in Serbia alone who were forced from their homes due to conflicts in the area. These people were in dire need of help.

The shipment reached its destination to a small village outside of Kragujevac where many refugees had gathered. The local hospital staff were of great assistance in distributing the clothes.

The hospital personnel helped to make sure that the aid shipment was distributed evenly amongst the refugee families. All of the children and adults received their designated packages with the amount of clothes they needed. No words could describe the gratitude and joy that was shown on the faces of the refugees while receiving the aid.
