Aid project in Colombia
Helping Hands aid shipment reached conflict areas in Colombia.
Helping Hands was able to distribute aid to approximately 3000 displaced families from the Western region of Colombia with the help of the Red Cross and several local aid organizations.
These refugees have been forced from their farms and homes due to armed conflicts and terrorism in the region causing them to find refuge in poverty stricken areas.
A part of the aid shipment was distributed by Colombia’s National Disaster Department to approx. 600 families in central Colombia who were stuck by an earthquake and mudslides.
